Hi there,

I broke my paddle during the last match and I'm about to buy a new one... but I'm uncertain about the weight it should have... could you help me?

I weight around 80 kgs and I'm 1,90 m tall...

It depends on the paddle you're using... and your strength too.

Something like 375-380 grs. would be ok for you, but it depends on the balance of the paddle.
If the paddle's weight is higher on the top of it, then you'll have to find something like 365-370 grs. A good sample of these paddles is the Lethal Weapon Carbon 3, from Varlion, whose balance centre is placed towards the top.

If the paddle's weight is well balanced towards your hand and you visit the gym regularly, then your arm may afford a 400 gr.

However, you should take into account that too heavy paddles may cause some injuries on your elbow, while you won't be able to use your full strength with lighter ones.
