The 2009 Junior World Championship took place in Sevilla between the 13rd and 18th of October.

Despite the relevance of this tournament, there were only 6 countries who participated: Argentina, Brasil, Canada, México, Portugal and Spain.

Unfortunately and for unknown reasons, the players of USA and United Kingdom didn't participate in this event.
